About Us

Backyard Home Services was established in 2025 as the sister company to Backyard Pet Services, a McKinney-based pet sitting, grooming, training, and scooper company that was founded in 2018.  Both companies share the joy of homecoming in their focus, mission, and purpose.  For pet services, the joy bringer at your front door (besides your family members) is often your pets, who miss you when you are gone and for whom we care tenderly in your absence and through our grooming service.  For home services, we wanted to expand our focus to the joyful notion of the home itself.  We started with the idea that your home is your sanctuary from the outside world, and we want every homecoming to be a joyful experience.  The way we make this happen is by taking inside and outside chores off your hands and by working with homeowners to make the inside and outside even more orderly and attractive through what we call a glow up.
